Sumiro Studio is a conceptual design studio for startups and software companies.

2. Information we collect
When you submit the project intake, we may collect your name, email, phone number, company, role, company URL, project stage, selected needs, budget range, timeline, links, referral source and project brief.
When you contact us by email, X, Telegram, or another channel, we collect the information you choose to send.
When you visit the website, technical information may be processed by hosting, security and analytics providers.
3. How we use information
We use information to review project requests, reply to messages, scope work, send confirmations, manage projects, improve the website, protect systems and meet legal or accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Legal basis
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on steps before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent where requested and legal obligations.
Our legitimate interests include operating the studio, responding to requests, improving services and protecting the website from misuse.
5. Service providers
We use service providers to run the website and operations. These may include hosting, database, email, analytics, security and communication services.
Current core providers include Supabase for server-side data storage, Resend for email delivery and Vercel for hosting and analytics.
7. Retention
Project intake data and communication records are kept while we evaluate, run, or maintain the relationship and then for a reasonable period for legal, accounting and operational reasons.
If you want your project intake removed, email hello@sumiro.studio and we will review the request unless we need to keep the data for a legitimate or legal reason.
8. Security
We use server-side storage, limited access and operational safeguards to protect project information.
No website or service can guarantee perfect security, so you should avoid sending highly sensitive material unless a secure process has been agreed.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information.
You can make a request by emailing hello@sumiro.studio. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
10. International processing
We work with providers and collaborators that may process information in different countries.
Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards or provider terms for international transfers.
11. Children
The website and services are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
